On Wednesday, the Northern Carolina Republicans excited democrats for “sweet crime” policies which, according to them, led to the murder of the Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte.

The leaders of the GOP of the whole state met in Charlotte for a press conference on Wednesday, highlighting their plans to reform policies of municipal and state crime. Kyle Kirby, president of the County Gop of Mecklenburg, urged the Americans not to move away from the images of the murder of Zarutska.

“Do not look away. Do not turn your head. Do not close your eyes. Look at it. Because she had no choice but to look bad in the face,” said Kirby. “His last moments were moments of terror, pain and loneliness. Although nobody can raise your hand on this car to help him, you can see the killer moving away with his knife dripping with blood with frightening indifference.”

“What Democrats call restorative justice resemble the murder of Iryna Zarutska. Instead of a real significant leadership,” he continued.

Kirby said Zarutska arrived in the United States as a refugee fleeing the war in Ukraine. He also encouraged residents to attend a candlelit vigil at a month -long anniversary of Zarutska’s death.

“She made her way to this country in Charlotte in search of refuge and promise, and she received the edge of a knife,” he said. “She died because of our complacency and what we have authorized to perpetuate in Charlotte and the municipal governments and the county.”

Kirby’s message is also taken root at the national level, with President Donald Trump and Vice-President JD Vance pointing towards democratic policies such as cash without species, which, according to them, allows dangerous criminals to walk freely.

Wednesday, Vance located the former governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper, who had tried to criticize the Republicans for having used the murder of Zarutska to score “political points”.

“The murder of Iryna Zarutska is a horrible tragedy and we must do everything possible to ensure the safety of people. Only a Cynique initiate of DC thinks that it is acceptable to use his death for political points, in particular the one who supported the reduction in the financing of the police in NC,” wrote Cooper on X.

Vance then replied: “The police arrested this thug 14 times. It was not the police who failed. They are weak politicians like you who continued to let him out of prison.”

“The animal who has so violently killed the beautiful young woman from Ukraine, who came to America in search of peace and security, should receive a quick trial ” (there is no doubt!), And did not grant the death penalty,” posted Trump on Truth Social. “There can be no other option!”
