The Trump administration plans to implement a process by which Iowa farmers can guarantee migrant agricultural workers who work hard and respectful of the laws that can be confronted, so that they can stay in the United States
The proposed process was shared by President Donald Trump during an event at Iowa State Fairgrounds Thursday evening, starting a year of patriotic celebrations intended to honor the 250th anniversary of the nation. Trump said the new plan will take place in coordination with the Ministry of Homeland Security and that the legislation for the measure is currently being drafted, while speaking Thursday evening of Iowa.
“You know, they have had people who work for them for years. And we are going to do something … We are going to somehow pay the farmers,” Trump told the crowd of those present. “If a farmer was with one of those people who worked so hard – they look all day, we don’t have too many people who can do it, but they work very hard, and they know him very well, and that some farmers are literally, you know, they cry when they see that happen.

“We do not want to do (border security) where we withdraw all farm workers,” added Trump. “We want the farms to do very well.”
According to the office of the US trade representative, Iowa is the second largest agricultural export in the country.
While announcing the new plan, Trump cited cases he had heard of when the migrants who have been working in farms for 15 years “”Be thrown away viciously. “”

“We can’t do this,” said Trump. “We were able to work with farmers and people with hotels and leisure properties.”
Earlier this week, when Trump had previously referred to the new immigration exemption for farmers, he also suggested that this decision could also be implemented for workers in the hotel industry.

While sharing the new immigration proposal with the crowd of Iowa State Fairgrounds Thursday evening, Trump spoke to potential decision -making criticism by “radical people on the right” within the GOP, asking the rhetorical crowd if they think that these people “will understand”.
After the president spoke about the proposal earlier this week, criticisms have already started to resolve.
“So, if I have to understand this correctly, we should look in the other direction concerning illegal immigration as long as it is in the construction industries, the hotel or the restaurant? It is far beyond disappointing, it is exasperating,” wrote the senator of the republican state of California, Melissa Melendez, on X.

The president noted on Thursday evening that the move will put the farmers “in charge” and, ultimately, the responsibility of any problem which would arise fall at their feet.
“If farmers are not doing a good job, we will throw them away from the country. We will let the guys – we will let the illegals stay, and we will throw the farmers,” said Trump. “Okay, prepare yourself, farmer, I tell you.”
