The mother and stepfather of Laken Riley approve the representative Mike Collins for the Senate

The mother and stepfather of Laken Riley approved representative Mike Collins, a republican of the Chamber who presents himself in the American Senate in Georgia, according to a press release from the campaign.

Riley was a 22 -year -old nursing student murdered last year by Venezuelan Jose Ibarra, found guilty and sentenced to life prison without the possibility of parole.

“There is simply no one else in this race which deserves to be more in the American Senate than Mike Collins. He is someone who says what he means, means what he says, and really gives results that count,” said Allyson Riley and John Phillips, in a statement, according to the press release. Many reports have already called Riley’s mother like Allyson Phillips, not Allyson Riley, as the press release does.

“What Mike did for our family was not a matter of politics and it was not attention or spotlight. He got up to do what was good and help do justice to our sweet Laken. For this, our family will be eternally grateful to Mike Collins, Senator Katie Britt and President Trump,” they said in the declaration.

The “Laken Riley Act” was the first element of legislation that President Donald Trump signed his second term earlier this year.

The outgoing Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff, who aims to win a re -election next year in the Peach State, voted in favor of the adoption of the legislation.

“The Biden administration and our current senators voted for open borders that allowed the Laken killer to come to the United States. They were looking for illegal immigrants instead of looking for their own voters,” the couple said in their declaration.

Collins noted in a job On x that it is “incredibly humiliated to have the support of the Laken family in our race for US Senate” and that “it is the reason why I fight – and its cause holds me focused on what is at stake”.
