The mayor of New York, Eric Adams, struck a “Criminal Conspiracy” costume

Mayor Eric Adams is prosecuted by a former senior official of the New York police department for having allegedly operated a “criminal conspiracy” in the department to enrich senior officials.
A spokesperson for Adams, who presents himself to a re-election as an independent, described the allegations “of the baseless accusations of a former dissatisfied employee”.
Politico reported This former acting commissioner of the NYPD, Tom Donlon, brought an action at the Supreme Court of New York State in Manhattan against Adams, the department and several other officials of the current city on Wednesday.
In his prosecution, Donlon alleged that “a coordinated criminal conspiracy had taken root at the highest levels of government government – made by wire fraud, mail fraud, honest fraud, obstruction to justice and reprisals against the denunciators”.
According to the point of sale, Donlon’s allegations against the New York authorities are a racketeering.

Donlon said that “this company – the NYPD – was a criminal at the base”.
Politico also pointed out that Donlon declared in a declaration which accompanies him that “this trial is not a personal grievance; this is a declaration against a corrupt system which betrays the public, silent the truth and punishes integrity”.
“The objective is to stimulate real changes, to hold corrupt, deceptive and abusive responsibility, and to restore the voice of any honorable officer who has been silenced or refused justice,” wrote Donlon.

In response, Kayla Mamelak Altus, spokesperson for Adams, told Fox News Digital that “these are baseless charges of a former unhappy employee – when he had the opportunity to lead the largest police service in the world – turned out to be ineffective”.
“This prosecution is nothing other than an attempt to request compensation at the taxpayer’s expense after Mr. Donlon was rightly withdrawn from the role of acting police commissioner,” said Mamelak Altus.
The spokesman said that the Adams office “would answer in court, where we are convinced that these absurd complaints will be refuted.”

Adams is currently faced with a difficult fight for the re -election against the Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani, a self -proclaimed democratic socialist, as well as the former governor of New York Andrew Cuomo, who presents himself as an independent republican candidate and activist and the militant Curtis Sliwa.
