A lawyer representing the victims of Jeffrey Epstein said on Wednesday that the American public “was going to be dismayed” documents relating to late financial in disgrace which was not published by the federal government.

“The government mistreated them after Jeffrey Epstein mistreated them,” said Bradley Edwards about Washington victims, DC

Edwards spoke during a press conference which is part of an effort by representatives Ro Khanna, D-Calif., And Thomas Massie, r-ky., To go through the Chamber a procedural motion known as a discharge petition, which could force a vote in the Chamber exhorting the Ministry of Justice to release Epstein files.

“We have brought prosecution against Jeffrey Epstein, against his succession and against two financial institutions – JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank – who prove that they have provided the financial infrastructure for a sex traffic operation.

“This is why this discharge petition is so important. Although we have seen the documents, you have not done so, and when you see the documents, you will be dismayed and the American people deserves to see everything,” he added.

“When you sign this discharge petition, this should mean that nothing is prohibited. The documents in possession of the CIA must be made available. Those who in possession of the FBI dating back decades should be made available. The financial files of the dry … should be made available,” continued Edwards, while he was standing alongside the victims.

“Everyone knows that evil flourishes in darkness. Corruption flourishes in secret. It is time at the moment to make a difference for women who are behind me at the moment,” added Edwards.

President Donald Trump called on Wednesday the release of files relating to Jeffrey Epstein “a democrat hoax because they try to bring people to talk about something that is completely out of words for the success we had as a nation since I was president”.

“I understand that we have been assimilated to giving files, and I understand that we have given thousands of pages of files. And I know that no matter what you are doing, it will continue,” Trump told journalists in the White House. “And really I think it’s enough because I think we should talk about the greatness of our country and the success we have. I think we probably have read, even two people in this room, we have the most successful eight months of all the presidents of all time.

Epstein died in prison six years ago while waiting for federal accusations related to sex trafficking.

“It is not a hoax. It’s real. There are real survivors,” said Massie earlier. “There are real victims of this criminal enterprise, and the authors are protected because they are rich and powerful and the political donors of the establishment here in Washington, DC, so today, we are sticking with the survivors, and we give them a voice.”

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA., Also said on Wednesday that “women behind me never received justice”.

“And do you want to know why? It is because Jeffrey Epstein could somehow walk among the richest and most powerful people, not only in America, but in foreign countries. Yesterday, I heard countries like Saudi Arabia, Russia and even Israel and other countries,” said Greene. “The truth must come out, and the government holds the truth that the sealed cases hold the truth. Jeffrey Epstein’s succession has the truth. The FBI, the Doj and the CIA holds the truth. And the truth that we demand.”

The victim of Epstein, Jena-Lisa Jones, said on Wednesday that she “was only 14 years old when my friend brought me to Jeffrey Epstein’s house in Palm Beach in 2003.”

“I have always done my best at school and I had such a positive vision of life,” she said. “Until this day that I met Jeffrey, I was never afraid of my life than I was the first time that he injured me. I remember crying throughout the way, thinking about the way I could never tell anyone who really went in this house.”

“It was really difficult for me to find my voice and become strong enough to talk about my abuses,” she also said, thanking Massie and Khanna for organizing it. “Together, we can finally make a change. And it is thanks to people like these two members of the Congress and their teams who really care about the victims.”

Jones also directly called on President Donald Trump.

“If you are a member of the Congress and you listen to us all, talk here today, please listen to us. Please vote for this bill to be adopted,” said Jones. “Please, President Trump, adopt this bill and help us. Make us feel that our voices are finally heard.”

“Ghislaine Maxwell was present for some of my abuses of Jeffrey Epstein. She was present. She was an accomplice. She permeated. And it is appalling and disgusting. And it is one of my worst nightmares … The possibility that makes a lot to do that she could be forgiven. It’s not good. It is not good.”
