A Los Angeles judge presided over an audience on Thursday that she considered giving a request that could have major implications for the application of immigration to California, a state which has become a focal point in the aggressive deportation plans of President Donald Trump.

Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, a named Biden, heard arguments on the advisability of granting an emergency prohibition order against immigration and customs application (ICE) on allegations that the agency violates constitutional rights during its immigration arrests.

Frimpong said during the hearing that she was leaning to grant a temporary restriction by Friday which could change the way the arrests are processed, but she warned that she wanted to be careful not to exceed.

“I think it is important that the court is not to charge the application of the law otherwise legitimate,” said the judge.

The case was initially introduced in June as a routine petition of three detainees, but it made its turn in fact a trial that disputes the functioning of the ice.

Immigration rights groups and local governments, including the cities of Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Culver and West Hollywood, all intervened in the case and the States led by Democrats filed a memory of Amicus in support.

The complainants allegedly allegedly allegedly allegedly “without discrimination” with the arrest of people with “brown skin” in deposits, car washing, firm and more. Authorities have arrested without “reasonable suspicion” and have sometimes apprehended American citizens in the process, all in violation of the fourth amendment, the lawyers wrote.

The complainants argued that the Trump administration had given ICE an unrealistic quota of 3,000 arrests per day, which made the agents feel in a hurry to explode the legal requirements to make these figures.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration challenges allegations and denies reprehensible acts.

Lawyers from the Ministry of Justice have written that immigration arrests, including nearly 3,000 in California since early June, have been legally carried out.

“Their request that the immigration authorities be overcome to rely on certain factors such as the occupation and the location fly to the established law forcing immigration officials to consider all circumstances, including things such as occupation and location,” the lawyers wrote.

The complainants also asked the judge to extend access to visitors to a short-term detention center in downtown Los Angeles.

The installation became the site for protests and troubles in early June, which led the authorities to temporarily abandon the building. The complainants allege that prisoners’ access to lawyers have been hampered in the establishment, in violation of the fifth amendment.
