The president of joint staff chiefs, General Dan Caine, is organizing his military counterparts from Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Finland and Italy in Washington, DC, Tuesday evening, to discuss potential security guarantees for Ukraine to prevent Russian assault, American officials confirm Fox News.
High -level talks work on the eve of a meeting of NATO defense leaders, where the 32 Allied military chiefs are invited to meet practically on Wednesday to coordinate the next steps. The session will be organized in Brussels by the president of the NATO military committee, officials said.
Urgent discussions follow the comments of President Donald Trump on “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday, in which he suggested that the United States could provide air support to Ukraine as part of a security guarantee, one day after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders have visited the White House to push the Russian war to end the Russian war Ukraine.
According to an American defense official, Caine heads the session on Tuesday evening in Washington with senior defense leaders of these five key allies of NATO.

The defense official added that the current agenda is limited to Tuesday evening talks and the meeting of NATO defense leaders on Wednesday, but stressed that the situation is “rapidly evolving”, leaving the possibility of additional sessions if the conditions change.
The NATO Wednesday meeting will practically include American participation, Caine joining alongside his counterparts, while the president of the Military Committee leads Brussels. The broader discussions of the Alliance should develop in the smallest Washington rally on Tuesday among the main European allies.
