The interior department targets wind and solar projects in a new order in Burgum

First on Fox: The Interior Department seeks to limit massive energy projects, unreliable and harmful, citing wind and solar energy, according to a new order from the secretary Doug Burgum which aims at what President Donald Trump called the “bird cemeteries”.

In the order obtained by Fox News Digital, Burgum uses What he described as an “objective and neutral” formula called a density of capacity which analyzes the space that an energy installation takes and its effect on the area which surrounds it in relation to its exit and its reliability.

Burgum said Trump asked his agency to consider this calculation to determine whether a project will offer more energy benefits than impact on its environment – that the agency has determined to monitor solar and wind.

“Gargantuan, unreliable and intermittent energy projects prevent America from reaching the domination of American energy while weighing heavily on the American taxpayer and the environment,” Burgum told Fox News Digital.

“By considering the optimization of energy production, the ministry will be able to better manage our federal land, minimize the environmental impact and maximize the development of energy to pursue the energy objectives of President Donald Trump.”

“This common sense order guarantees that our nation is stronger, our use of land is optimized and the American people are properly informed,” he added.

The US Energy Information Administration used the density of capacity to determine that an advanced nuclear energy plant produces 33 megawatts (MW) by ACRE compared to an offshore windmill installation producing 0.006 MW / ACRE – which makes the nuclear factory 5,500 times more efficient than a whole wind fleet.

In his order, Burgum highlighted the repercussions on the national security of an insufficient framework of inner energy production and criticized the wind and solar energy projects artificially stimulated in recent years.

AK legislators claim that the “victory” while the federals begin the inversion of the “illegal” Biden rule restricting oil and the gas ANWR

“Such proliferation has moved sources of energy distributed and destabilized our electricity network,” he said.

During a 2019 speech, Trump castigated wind energy projects that lead to an undue death of birds and other wild animals.

Trump noted that it was a potentially delicate federal crime for a human to kill a single white -headed pygargue, but that windmills probably killed “hundreds” without repercussions.

Wind facilities are “like a cemetery for birds. If you like birds, you would never want to walk under a windmill because it is a very sad and sad view. It’s like a cemetery,” said Trump also.

During the 2016 campaign, he criticized Hillary Clinton’s support for green energy, jokingly by putting a windmill near his house, the value of the three -quarter property.
