The former executive director of the NFLPA, Lloyd Howell Jr., who resigned on Thursday, would have charged the union for two visits to strip clubs.

Howell, 59, was recovered in a car at Fort Lauderdale International Airport on November 2, 2023 and stopped in an address near the gardens of Miami. A Union finance worker looked for the address and discovered that it was the Tootsie cabaret, according to ESPN report.

The Tootsie cabaret marks like the “Full Nude # 1 classified Miami Strip Club”.

The driver who deposited Howell was hired to wait until Howell was inside the strip club. The driver waited seven hours outside before finally dropping out Howll at his luxury condominium at Sunny Isles Beach around 6 am, according to the ESPN receipt obtained.

During this year’s NFLPA summit, Howell and two union employees went to Magic City, another strip club, according to the report. The trip cost $ 2,426 after using two “VIP rooms” with several cash withdrawals from $ 200 to $ 525, according to the report.

In the spending report, Howell’s trip to the strip club was described as “players’ commitment event to support and develop our union”, according to the report.

The NFLPA told Fox News Digital that she was not commenting on the ESPN report.

“It is clear that my leadership has become a distraction of the important work that the NFLPA is advancing every day,” said Howll in his declaration of resignation on Thies on Three.

“For this reason, I informed the executive committee of the NFLPA which I resign as executive director of the NFLPA and chairman of the board of directors of the NFL players immediately. I hope that this will allow the NFLPA to maintain its accent on the members of its players before the coming season.”

Howell did not respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.

Howell was elected president of the union in 2024, and he resigned alone, according to the ESPN report.
