EXCLUSIVE: The FBI responded on Saturday to a report that 274 plainclothes agents were at the riot of the American Capitol on January 6, 2021, clarifying the role of office staff while exploding the former director Christopher Wray.

While the agents were there, they were sent after the riot began to try to control the unruly crowd, officials at Fox News Digital said. This is not the appropriate role of FBI agents, and Wray was not on what happened when he testified several times at Capitol Hill, said director Kash Patel.

“Agents were sent to a mission to control crowds after the riot was declared by the metropolitan police – something that goes against FBI standards,” Patels in Fox News Digital. “It is the failure of a corrupt leadership that lied to the Congress and the American people on what really happened.”

He added: “Thanks to the agents who manifest themselves, we now discover the truth. We are fully attached to transparency, and justice and responsibility continue with this FBI.”

There is no indication that FBI agents were involved in events related to Trump’s speech on the morning of January 6 at the Ellipse, an FBI official told Fox News Digital, adding that Wray should have revealed that the agents were there when they were requested by the leaders of the Congress.

President Donald Trump, citing a report that the agents were in the crowd, which did not clearly indicate their mission, said Wray earlier, “has major explanations to make”.

“It is fair to reveal that the FBI had secretly placed, against all the rules, regulations, protocols and standards, 274 FBI agents in the crowd just before and during the cannular of January 6,” wrote Trump in a social article of truth on Saturday afternoon following a report of the report The firerevealing the number of agents who were there.

Trump added: “This is different from what director Christopher Wray said, again and again! It is true, in the end, the FBI agents were at and in the manifestation of January 6, probably acting as agitators and insurrectionists, but certainly not as” responsible for the application of laws “. “”

The president said he wanted to know the identity of each officer and what they did at the American Capitol.

“Many great American patriots were made to pay a very great prize only for the love of their country,” he said, referring to Trump supporters who faced charges for their involvement on January 6.

Trump has forgiven or commissioned the sentences of each person accused for involvement on January 6 after taking office this year.

He concluded: “I owe to them this survey on” dirty cops and twisted politicians “! Christopher Wray, then director of the FBI, has major explanations to do. It is two immediately, Comey and Wray, who set themselves to lie, with our big country at stake. We can never let it happen again!”

Citing a high-level source of the congress, the fire report said that the number of agents was not “necessarily a surprise” because the FBI “often integrates counter-pratic staff during events”.

Wray told a chamber committee on November 15, 2023: “If you ask if violence at the Capitol was part of an operation orchestrated by FBI sources or agents, the answer is no”, but it would not disclose if agents or sources were integrated into the crowd.

The 274 agents also include those who responded to pipe bombs placed near the National Democratic Committee and the headquarters of the National Republican Committee at night before January 6, according to Politico.

Trump appointed Wray as director of the FBI in 2017 after dismissed the former FBI director, James Comey, who has just been charged by a large jury this week for allegedly made false declarations in the congress.

FBI agents across the country are invited to resign, retire or be dismissed

A report published last December by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Justice, Michael E. Horowitz, said: “We did not find any evidence in the documents that we have examined or the testimony that we received or suggesting that the FBI had employees infiltrated in the various crowds of protest, or in the Capitol, on January 6,” although he recognized that there were 26 informants, but only three of them been assigned by the FBI to have it.

The report also indicates that FBI staff had been sent to the Capitol at the request of the submerged capitole police to help control the crowds.

Horowitz said none of the informants had been authorized to encourage the crowd, break the law or enter the American Capitol.

In his reports, Blaze noted that there may be a confusion concerning the “targets” and “under cover”, which means that the Inspector General and the FBI could tell the truth.

Many agents were not happy to have been sent to the Capitol to control the crowds, another official told Fox News Digital. It was a chaotic scene without a pre-plain that contradicted the agency’s initial plan so as not to get involved in the event. The official said that the agents are not trained to control the crowds.

The first agents arrived at the Capitol around 2:30 p.m. – there is no evidence that there were before a riot was declared – and the agents continued to arrive after that, added the manager.

Blur had testified before the congress before the publication of the Inspector General’s report in December, but Patel called Wray to deflex and give a “DC response” when he is pressed by the legislators.

“Why took a ton of time and questioning in the congress so that the director gets this point, this is what I try to eliminate from the FBI,” said Patel. “If the congress asks you a question under oath, whether or not there were sources (or) towards January 6 at the Capitol, you as director of the FBI, you must know and not deviate and give a DC response. You must be prepared for this.”
