Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will probably opt for a more formal look when he meets former president Donald Trump on Monday in Washington, DC, according to a designer who has already collaborated with the European leader.

“Tomorrow, he will probably not appear in a polo shirt,” Ukrainian designer Elvira Gasanova told Fox News Digital. “… I think he will choose a black military costume or a military style shirt with pants – maybe a jacket.”

Having already been criticized for her informal outfit, Zelenskyy is likely to choose “a more serious look – although less symbolic”, according to Gasanova.

Gasanova said she had already designed clothes for Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska.

“We sent various articles to the president-of Vyshyvankas and Polos in costume,” she said. “There were only a few fittings with Volodymyr – he just doesn’t have time … In addition, it’s stressful for him, because his body changes constantly.”

“For the moment, he is in Brussels, and he will decide by himself what to wear tomorrow,” she said.
