President Donald Trump said on Tuesday evening that the FBI “may” have to “bring together a group of Democratic legislators who fled Texas to avoid voting on the redistribution card proposed by the State.

This occurs while the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott and several leaders of Texas, including the prosecutor General Ken Paxton, demanded that the 50 Democratic members of the State legislature who fled the return of the State or be confronted with consequences.

Democrats fled the state to refuse Republicans the two -thirds quorum required to vote on the redistribution map, which would probably give the GOP an advantage of the elections and potentially add five seats to the Chamber to the Delegation of the Republican Congress of Texas.

The national democrats praised it. During a press conference on Sunday, the governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, a leading democratic figure, shared his support for the Democrats of Texas, describing their departure as a “fair act of courage”, while affirming that the Republicans want to silence “millions of votes, in particular black and Latin voters”.

Abbott said that legislators’ commitment to vote as an elected electrical is a duty and is “not optional”. The governor also declared that a legislator determined to have “lost his office due to abandonment” can be removed from his functions under the constitution of Texas, thus creating a vacancy, which the governor can “fulfill” under Article III, section 13.

After the Democrats were not respected on Abbott’s deadline at 4 p.m. on Monday CT, Texas President of the Dustin Burrows Chamber announced that he would sign arrest warrants against absent democratic legislators if they were authorized by a vote of the Chamber. Shortly after, the room approved the mandates and Abbott then quickly called the Texas Department of Public Security to arrest the “Texas House delinquent democrats”.

The Attorney General said that legislators “should be found and arrested, no matter where they go”.

Trump weighed the political intrigue on Tuesday in the White House when a journalist asked: “Do you want the federal government and the FBI to help locate and stop these Democrats in Texas who left the State?”

The president replied that it is a bad look for the Democrats to “abandon” the state rather than fighting it to the Legislative Assembly.

“Well, I think they have abandoned the state,” he said. “No one has seen anything like it, even if they did it twice before. And, in a way, it almost looks like they have abandoned the state. It looks very bad.”

Funded further on the question of whether the FBI should get involved, Trump replied: “Well, it may be necessary to do so.”

“They may have to do it,” he said. “No, I know they want them to come back. Not only the Attorney General, the Governor wants them to come back. If you look at, I mean that the Governor of Texas asks them to come back. So many people require them to come back. You can’t just sit down.

Questioned by Peter DOOCY of Fox News Channel if he thought that the Rediscussion plans of Texas were worth risking the blue states rinsing in the same way, Trump replied: “They will do it anyway”.

“Why, if we stop there, they would have done it anyway,” he said. “Listen, many of these states, you know, I watched this morning while the Democrats complain and complain about states where they did it, as in Illinois, as in Massachusetts.”

“The Democrats did it long before they started. They did it everywhere. They did it in New York. They did it in many different states,” said Trump.

“Texas is a place that is done very well with a kind of free attitude, with exactly the opposite of what’s going on in New York with a communist mayor. And they know what they are doing. And they do the right thing,” he said. “So we will see what is happening. We have a wonderful governor in Texas. He is strongly on this. It will be his.”
