The Democrat who posted a warning on ice operations could face federal accusations, explains the DHS representative

A legislator legislator that goes around ice operations in its community could be accused of obstructing justice, a spokesman for the Ministry of Homeland Security told Fox News Digital.

After the Democratic Senator of the State of Arizona analyzes Ortiz admitted on social networks to have alerted her community about ice movements, said DHS assistant secretary, Tricia McLaughlin

“The senator of the state of Arizona analyzes Ortiz defends himself with vicious cartels, traffickers of human beings and violent criminals on American citizens,” said McLaughlin.

“The notification of the public of the operations of the application of ice laws endangers the police and weakens American national security,” she continued.

In response to the question of Fox News Digital as to whether Ortiz could face accusations, McLaughlin replied: “It certainly resembles an obstruction of justice.”

She highlighted the DHS statistics that ICE officers are currently faced with an 830% increase in attacks.

“Men and women of ice have brought their lives into play every day to stop violent illegal criminal foreigners to protect and defend the lives of American citizens,” said McLaughlin. “Do not be mistaken, sanctuary politicians such as the Arizona senator analysis Ortiz contribute to the thrust of the assaults of our ice officers by their dissemination and repeated demonization of the ice.”

This comes after the Popular Conservative Social Media page “Libs of Tiktok” castigated Ortiz for having published alerts on its account giving updates to ice operations in the region. Tiktok’s Libs have published a screenshot, indicating that it belonged to Ortiz, who warned in English and Spanish, “Ice is present”. The post also gave the location of the tenants of federal officials.

Tiktok Libs wrote: “Analysis of the Senator of the State of Arizona Ortiz (D) actively hinders and icexing of ice by publishing their places live on Instagram.” The account has urged the Tsar Tom Homan border, the DHS and the ice to file a complaint against Ortiz.

In response, Ortiz admitted to having alerted his community about the activity of the ice, saying: “Yes.

Apparently in response to the Libs of Tiktok’s call to accusations against her, Ortiz also wrote: “I am not frightened by you or the masked men of Trump.”

After the commentary, the Senate of Arizona Warren Petersen, a republican, published a reprimand statement Ortiz: “Officials have the duty to respect the law and respect those who apply them, not undermines them.”

Petersen said he had referred the American lawyer for the Arizona district for investigation “because it seems to be in violation of federal law”.

Ortiz has remained provocative, writing in a post X, “I will not be intimidated. I will love our community to avoid the area where Trump’s masked thugs terrorize all of us, whatever citizenship. Trump does not respect our laws or our constitution. My duty is to keep people in the shelter of his unconstitutional and authoritarian actions.”
