On Friday, European and Iranian negotiators ended their talks in Geneva, Switzerland, without a clear breakthrough, but the diplomats told the Associated Press that they hoped for more discussions with the Iranians.

The talks with Iran came a day after the White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt transmitted a message from President Trump, declaring: “Based on the basis of the substantial chances of negotiations which could or not occur with Iran in the near future, I make my decision to go or not in the next two weeks.”

A former Pentagon official says there is an important question that is not discussed.

“If Iran abandons its nuclear program as Trump has asked, there is another problem that we are not talking about, is how to get all nuclear equipment outside Iran,” said Michael Rubin, a ventilated American Enterprise Institute, told Fox News Digital.

Rubin, who lived in Post-revolution, Yemen, and Iraq Pré and Post-War, said that there are some options available.

“The United States could do it, but we don’t want boots on the ground.”

He said that the International Atomic Energy Agency could be responsible for doing so, adding: “Who really trusts the United Nations and the United Nations agencies?”

“If Trump wants to seriously bring Iran to lose its nuclear program, it is time to start having a conversation with other allies on which could take command, control and custody of this nuclear equipment until it is outside Iran.”

Rubin said that he would name India to grasp nuclear matter.

“They are reliable by the Americans, they are reliable by the Israelis and they trust the Iranians. But we must begin not only to be reactive, but also proactive,” said Rubin

Rubin quoted a quote from Margaret Thatcher to George HW Bush in 1990 – “Do not give up on me now, George” – When Saddam Hussein invaded Iraq.

“I suspect that Marco Rubio fills the Britches of Margaret Thatcher, that he is the one who is now going to our European allies, saying:” Don’t be able to banish now. “” Said Rubin.

“(He) says that to all the others within the European Union and the United Kingdom because if Europeans have their choice, they will choose calm rather than common sense.”

Rubio spoke with counterparts on Thursday to discuss the current Israel-Iran conflict.

According to the spokesperson for the State Department, Tammy Bruce, he spoke with the Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs Penny Wong and the French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-No-Noël Barrot in separate conversations on the ongoing conflict.

They all agreed to “continue to work together to embark on a path of peace and ensure that Iran never develops a nuclear weapon,” said Bruce.

Louis Casiano and the Associated Press contributed to this report.
