Senator Mike Lee, Rutah, plans to present the Charlie Kirk law, which interrupted the United States Agency for the World Media (USAGM) to disseminate media, such as radio, videos and websites, to influence Americans.

Lee declared in a statement to Fox News Digital that since the end of the Second World War at the former president Barack Obama The second mandate, USAGM, which is a State Department apparatus, has been forbidden to distribute media in the United States

Lee argued that until 2013, it was illegal to “target American citizens with propaganda”.

“In 2013, these protections were removed,” said Lee. “My legislation restores this safeguard under the name of an American martyr for freedom of expression and freedom of thought: Charlie Kirk.”

Lee’s bill would add stronger railings to the Smith-Mundt law in the Cold War era, which was initially designed to promote the United States around the world. However, the law was modified in 2012 to allow the documents produced by the agency to be made available in America.

Charlie Kirk’s act would prevent the media produced by the agency from being immediately presented in the United States, rather than embarrassing it effectively in the United States for 12 years. This would also prevent the agency from using the media it produces by influencing Americans.
