After an accident that kills her almost, Emily and her husband, Freddie, move from London in a beautiful country house called Larkin Lodge. The house is beautiful, but for Emily, something about this feels deeply bad. Emily begins to believe that the house is haunted, although she cannot find any evidence of an unjustified death. Freddie does not notice anything strange and is satisfied with their chance to start. While bizarre events accumulate and her marriage begins to collapse, Emily becomes obsessed with the discovery of the truth. But if the house has secrets, they too. And they live here now.

We have a repeated action last week in today’s programming: Emily Henry Big big life is once again on the five best seller lists, and the luxury edition of Remarkably shiny creatures Always make figures. People really like these sprayed edges!

In books that have reached four best-sellers lists, the three are titles appearing for the first time: My friends by Fredrik Backman, Sparrow by Devney Perry, and The tenant by Freida McFadden. No real surprise at Backman and McFadden, whose titles land them reliably on the best-sellers lists at this stage. Devney Perry may be new in this list, but not in the publication, with more than 50 romantic novels in his name! Son romant SparrowAlso in a limited edition of luxury, has compositions to Sarah J. Maas and Rebecca Yarros (I See You, People Marketing) and is already in development with Amazon MGM with a script of John Wick Scriptwriter Derek Kolstad.

As always, this list lacks diversity on several levels, in particular by being disproportionately (and this week, entirely) by white authors. Some indie bestsellers that you should know are Matron By Tina Knowles, Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar, and The Book of Alchemy by Suleika Jaouad.
