The Brilliant Milkky Way connects photographers around the world and beyond in an annual competition – Colossal

Every night, the Milky Way is decorated with a dark sky around the world with a series of sparkling stars and orange pink dust. Amazing in itself, our galaxy is more dazzling in the pictures that lead 2025 The Milky Way is a photographer for this year competition.

The annual competition, hosted by Capture The Atlas, received more than 6000 requests in its eighth year. All winning clips are from a different location, including midfield Mawi Ister Island sculptures, over the Taiwan Huhawan Mountain, and the remote socotra island in Yemen. For the first time, there is even a view of the Milky Way Road from the International Space Station, which was seized by the astronaut Don Bette while the Earth shines below.
