In flight at 30,000 feet, passengers can present certain behaviors that would be deemed inappropriate on earth.
In the “R / Delta” forum on Reddit, a user entitled A Post “Crimes Against Humanity”, as well as a photo of a man lying with his bare feet in the seat in front of him.
Redditors took the comments section to share their reactions, as well as their own flight experiences.

“It strikes me like the same type of person who would cut their nails in public,” said a user.
Another person wrote: “It is not your mom’s basement, sir.” Another Redditor said: “Salon syndrome strikes again.”

Someone else commented: “That’s why I travel with Clorox wipes on planes.”
“Did you say something?” asked for a person. The user who posted the photo replied: “Of course, he put his socks at least.”

Jacqueline Whitmore, an expert in a label based in Florida and former on -board agent, said that it was better to keep your feet covered to a certain extent on an airplane.

“If you plan to remove your shoes on a longer flight, it is best not to walk without slippers for your own health and safety,” she said.
“The plane floor is extremely dirty, especially in the toilet. Water on the ground is probably not at all water.”

Whitmore also said that being barefoot can have an impact on those around you.
“For the other passengers, seeing someone walking barefoot can be considered unpleasant or not hygienic, which could have a negative impact on their flight experience.”

To stay comfortable while remaining hygienic, Whitmore suggests putting a clean pair of socks, using slippers or wearing more comfortable shoes.
