The Bacon representative expresses his interest as president or governor

While the representative Don Bacon, R-Neb., Will not ask for his re-election next year, he leaves the door open to the prospect of a new public service, expressing his interest in serving as governor or even president.

Fox News Digital contacted the Bacon office on Monday, and in a statement provided, the Congress member said: “I would love to continue serving this big country, but not at Congress after the end of this mandate.”

Bacon, which has been used in the House of Representatives since 2017, plans to serve the rest of its current mandate.
“This work requires a day of 14 hours during the week, Saturdays, parades and a variety of things, and sometimes Sunday. And I want to do this for two more years? I was simply not hungry to want to work at this level of intensity,” said the Congress member, according to NBC News. “And my wife wanted me to go home. I went to DC four days a week, and I am lucky to be at home now seven days a week, and I have eight grandchildren in the 10 minutes of my house.”
