The agents demolish the anti-ice sign, say: “We bring back America”

While the federal authorities carried out more than 100 immigration arrests after the takeover of President Donald Trump of Washington, DC, the agents of the application of the law, filmed themselves by tearing a vulgar anti-ice sign in the Mount Pleasant district.

“We bring back America, baby,” said one of the agents by hitting the sign.

ICE published the video on its official account X Sunday in the midst of federal operations of the application of general laws to DC which led to more than 300 arrests, including more than 100 immigration arrests.

The video showed a little more than half a dozen masked agents tearing a sign with a Spanish and English writing which said “F *** Ice” and “Mount Pleasant Melts Ice”.

Speaking in Spanish, one of the agents shared a message, saying: “It is for America. The United States is n ° 1.”

“We take it back,” he added.

In its post, the agency added: “The ice is dedicated to the elimination of criminals from American cities, and DC is no exception. Rendezvite again safe!”

This occurs when federal ice officials of ice, DEA, border patrol and other agencies flooded parts of the city in the context of Trump’s repression against crawling crime in the national capital. Members of the National Guard have also been deployed with military tactical vehicles at critical points in the city, including the National Mall and the union station.

Trump federally federally the metropolitan police service on August 11 in response to a series of very publicized murders and attacks, and a wave of crime in the district that has persisted since 2020. Trump has federalized the local police service under article 740 of the Columbia District Act, which allows the president to take emergency control of the capital forces for 30 days.

Washington, DC, is one of the many cities and jurisdictions with sanctuary policies in place. Under Trump’s federal control, however, all of this changes.

Speaking on Fox News, Trump Border Czar Tom Homan said: “DC under federal control will not be a sanctuary city.”

Homan said: “We work with the police hand in hand – and when we meet an illegal criminal foreigner, they will be put back in ice, and that is how it should be.”

“I am not saying that each illegal foreigner at DC is a criminal. But many are, so they are people on which we are going to focus. An illegal threat of criminal security foreign to DC will not be protected. There is no sanctuary for these people in the city of DC”
