A federal judge discovered Tuesday that the prosecutor general of Florida James Uthmeier was in a civilian court for his decision to suspend a new state law, which makes it a crime for people living in the United States to enter the state.

US District Judge Kathleen Williams ordered Uthmeier on April 29 that Uthmeier shows a cause on “why he should not be detained or sanctioned” to have violated a temporary prohibition order (TRO) of the Court, although Williams has finally decided that he is unable to convince her differently.

“If contempt is detained, this is what it costs to defend the rule of law and firmly support President Trump’s agenda on illegal immigration as long as he is,” said Uthmeier in a position on X on Tuesday.

Florida Gov. Ron Desantis Signed the law in February which made an offense for illegal immigrants to enter the state as part of President Donald Trump’s push to repress illegal immigration.

But on April 4, Williams published a 14 -day tro in response to the law, following a trial brought by the Florida Immigrant Coalition and other groups. She then extended the TRO 11 days after learning that the Florida Highway Patrol had arrested more than a dozen people, including an American citizen.

The court declared on April 18 that agents of the application of Florida laws were bound by the Tro, preventing them from enforcing the criminal law on immigration.

The court also ordered the Attorney General to provide an opinion on all agents of the police, to which Uthmeier initially respected.

But on April 23, he sent a follow -up letter indicating to the Community of the police that “no judicial order … does not prevent you correctly” from enforcing the Immigration Act, adding that “the legitimate and legitimate order currently prevents your agencies from continuing to apply” the status.

Consequently, the court forced uthmal to show why it should not be detained for having raped the Tro.

Following its response, the Court considered that the litigants cannot change the meaning of the words because it suits them, judging that Authmeier was in contempt of the ordinance of the Court on April 18 to provide Tro to the agents of the application of laws concerning the application of the law immigration law.

As such, the court ordered Uthmeier to submit bihebdomedar reports detailing the arrests, detention or actions to apply the law with regard to the immigration law prohibiting undocumented immigrants from entering the state of Florida, the first being deposited by July 1.
