The envoy of the White House, Steve Witkoff, is preparing for a trip to Russia on Wednesday, two days before the deadline of August 8 by President Donald Trump so that Moscow enters a cease-fire or confronts rigid sanctions.

But the climbing period, which Trump reduced by almost a month last week after the first program of Russian President Vladimir Putin a deadline of 50 days in mid-July, did not do much to limit the violence of the Kremlin in Ukraine.

If a peace agreement is not reached by Friday, Putin’s main goods will become the main target, because the United States will start 100% sanctions against nations which buy Russian oil in a decision to dissuade them from the food of the economy of Russia and, by extension, from its war box.

China, India Fuel War Machine of Russia by ignoring international sanctions: report

But even with the threat of oil sales possibly lower than nations like India and China, which are the best world buyers of Russian oil, reports suggested Tuesday that Witkoff’s last effort to talk about peace with Putin should not do much, if necessary.

A Reuters report said that not only Witkoff’s efforts are not only expected, but that Putin is not discouraged by Trump’s secondary sanctions either.

Trump told CNBC on Tuesday that he planned to increase the current 25% prices on India “very considerably” in the coming 24 hours.

“They feed the war machine, and if they will do it, then I will not be happy,” he said.

Since Trump has already said that he planned to hit any nation that is negotiated with Moscow with 100% secondary sanctionsIt is not clear if he still plans to hit India and China with such high commercial fines.

Neither the White House nor the Treasury Department returned the questions of Fox News Digital concerning the imminent price rates.

But India has rejected the prices, calling them “unjustified and unreasonable”.

How Trump could “ nonitity ” the Xi-Putin Alliance

In a statement On Monday, Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that after the invasion of Russia and the subsequent Western oil boycotts, the United States would have encouraged India to import Russian gas “to strengthen the stability of the world energy markets”.

But it is not only a financial aid in which India is accused of participating in the Russian war in Ukraine.

Ukraine said on Tuesday that it found “Indian manufacturing components in Russian attack drones – including Shahed / Geran models”.

“Russia must be denied access to foreign manufacturing parts that allow these weapons and the murder of Ukrainians”, Andriy Yermak, presidential staff chief, said on x.

These drones were sadly used not only to hit military points along the front lines in Ukraine, but have regularly targeted Ukrainian civilians, including in a series of night strikes.

“Last night, the Russians launched a ballistic missile and nearly 50 drones against Ukraine, most of the Russian Shahed Iranis ”,” Ukrainian President Volodyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday. “Many drones have been killed by our defenders, but unfortunately, there were successes.”

Zelenskyy confirmed that a person had been killed and that 10 were injured, including two children, after 25 Shahed drones hit the city of Lozova in the Kharkiv region.

The Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Sumy regions were also struck and two others were apparently injured.

“Once again, the Russian army chases civilians to try to terrorize cities and communities on front line,” said Zelenskyy.

Despite the concerns that the sanctions could have little effect on the ambitions of Putin’s war, Zelenskyy argued that they could “contribute” at the end of the war.

“The world now sees that sanctions against Russia and secondary sanctions against all those who help it take advantage of oil can work if they are strong enough,” he said. “Consequently, the pressure must be increased, and this will undoubtedly contribute to peace.”
