SSA reports better performance under Trump than Biden Administration

Social Security Administration repels against senator Elizabeth Warren, D-MASS., After having accused the agency of deleting key data and covering a dysfunction.

In a report of September 16, 2025, letters and data shared exclusively with Fox News Digital, SSA commissioner, Frank J. Bisignano, said that Warren’s analysis was inaccurate.

He said the agency was more transparent and made it better of the Trump administration than in previous administration. The documents reflect the position of the SSA and have not been verified independently.

“The SSA currently reports almost three times the number of data elements on the performance web page under the Trump administration (30) that in the Biden administration (11),” wrote Bisignano.

“These facts demonstrate in a conclusive way that you are wrong to allege a lack of transparency.”

He also postponed the burden of concealment warren, claiming that the SSA has made improvements in customer service, including “shorter waiting times on phones and offices, as well as reduced arrears”. Bisignano said 81% of performance measures are better than before, with the rest roughly the same.

According to the SSA data, the average waiting times of the phone increased from 29 minutes in 2024 to 16 minutes in 2025, with August at only 9 minutes.

The pending disability determinations increased from nearly 1.2 million in August 2024 to around 907,000 a year later. The treatment of complaints for disability accelerated from 231 days to 217 days. SSA reports that pension and survivors were treated in time 87% of the period in August 2025.

Bisignano wrote that the agency’s goal was to become a “first digital” operation that works effectively and serves people, which they call, visit an office or use the website. He said that the constant monitoring of key performance indicators is part of this effort.

He also urged Warren to work with the SSA instead of spreading what he called “lies of fear and importance that social security disappears”.

“The time has come to stop weapons social security,” he wrote. “The American people do not want a Social Security War. They want their leaders to protect and preserve Social Security, just as President Trump has promised.”
