“Skybox” by Machteld Kroon

Lens Machteld Crohn Old layout, found clips of unknown origin. Its headquarters is located in the Netherlands, and the photography of Crons of Life and Family Heritage is explored, and the documentary film and the built reality are mixed. With a background in high art, its work is deepened in the complex fabric of identity, memory and origins. This particular project depends on a box of thirty years old or more. With the absence of information or a selection context, Crohn thinks about its meaning and origins, while you literally expect it:

“The original photographer has over and over again on the sky, like the child who explores it through repetition, a verb of pure observation that was not destroyed in the sense. With the passage of time, these pictures have grown on me. The consistency of a language has become a language, and a calm contemplation of consideration. By dropping these slides on my body and snow, I convert their original intention. The past meets with the present, transforms the act of reformulating their design, their goal, and instills them in a new sense that is formed by my existence. “
