Shapiro criticizes Trump for the condemnation of violence against picking cherries, the governor of Lapennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, condemns all political violence after the assassination of Charlie Kirk and criticizes the selective condemnation of violent acts.

Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro, from Pennsylvania, firmly sentenced to political violence and called for unity and moral clarity after last week’s assassination of the conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk.

And Shapiro, who survived an attack on the Fire Bobe against himself and his family in the manor of the Governor of Pennsylvania in April, also accused President Donald Trump of selecting violent acts which he condemns following the murder of Kirk at a university campus at Utah Valley University.

“Violence in all forms is unacceptable,” said Shapiro at an address at the world summit in hate eradicated in Pittsburgh. “Political violence is particularly dangerous. Not only seeks to injure, mutilate or kill – she seeks to intimidate, terrorize and silence.”

The Governor of Pennsylvania in his speech highlighted other high -level violent political attacks in recent years, including Trump’s assassination attempt last year, and the murder of this year of the former speaker of the Minnesota Chamber, Melissa Hortman, Democrat, and her husband.

Trump, in an oval office address a few hours after Kirk’s death, blamed “the radical left”.

Friday, in the interviews on “Fox and Friends” of Fox News and Saturday on NBC News, the president targeted “a radical group of Lunatics”.

And Trump told journalists on Sunday: “When you look at the problems, the problem is on the left. It’s not right.”

But Shapiro reprimanded Trump, without directly mentioning the name of the president.

“For moments like this, I believe that we are responsible for being clear and unequivocal to call all forms of political violence and clearly do all this bad. It should not be difficult to do,” said the governor.

And Shapiro deplored: “Unfortunately, some of the dark corners of the Internet to the oval office want to pick cases of political violence they want to condemn.”

The governor argued: “Doing this only divides us more, and it makes healing more difficult. There will be some who will hear this selective condemnation and will take it as a permission to commit more violence. As long as it is suitable for their story or targets only the other side.”
