Sha’Carri Richardson is missing 200m final at the American athletics championships

A difficult week for the American sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson ended with a close failure of the 200 -meter final on Sunday at the American athletics championships in Eugene, Oregon.
Barely a week ago, Richardson was arrested for domestic violence in the fourth degree for allegedly assaulted his boyfriend, his compatriot Sprinter Christian Coleman, at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Richardson was sentenced to South Correctional Entity (score) to monks, Washington, for more than 18 hours instead of doing what she needed to prepare for the biggest week of athletics across the country.

She continued to participate in the opening round of the 100 meters, but then withdrew from the event. But while Richardson has an automatic offer in the world championships next month in Tokyo, Japan, as the title champion of the race, she did not have the same luxury in the 200.
Richardson finished fourth in its heat after executing the 200 meter sprint in 22.56 seconds. The two main finishers of each heat are progressing as well as the three fastest times following. Madison Whyte barely beaten Richardson after running 22.55 seconds in the same heat.

Richardson, who won bronze at this event at the 2023 world championships, was leading his first 200 meters this season.
As for the alleged incident of domestic violence, Richardson is accused of having grasped Coleman’s backpack, shooting it and pushing it in a wall, which was apparently taken on video surveillance.

Richardson seemed to launch something about Coleman, what the TSA said maybe headphones, according to the Associated Press.
“I was told that Coleman did not want to participate more in the investigation and refused to be a victim,” wrote an officer in their police report.
It is the second known incident of Richardson’s known public airport after being previously launched an airplane in January 2023 after a dispute with a on -board agent who, according to her, spoke to her disrespectful.
The 25-year-old also made the headlines of the world newspapers after testing cannabis before the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games, where she accepted a month’s suspension by the Anti-Doping Agency in the United States, which makes her ineligible to the 100-meter race. It was also not selected in the 4×100 meter relay team, which delayed its Olympic beginnings until last year in Paris.

Richardson won the 100 -meter race in Budapest at the 2023 world championships, but she finished with money in the event in Paris. However, she won gold as part of the 4×100 relay team.
