Schiff explodes the confirmation of judge Bove in the midst of the controversy on mortgage fraud

Senator Adam Schiff, D-Calif., Castigated the Republicans for having confirmed the former defense lawyer of President Donald Trump, Emil Bove, as a federal judge on Tuesday after the senator himself was referred to the Ministry of Justice for criminal proceedings in the midst of allegations of mortgage fraud.

The Senate voted to confirm Bove at the United States Court of Appeal for the 3rd circuit during a vote of 50 to 49 years on Tuesday, in the midst of a difficult confirmation process involving allegations of three denunciators who alleged that Bove did not take into account the judicial orders surrounding the mass deportation order of Trump and deceived the legislators during his confirmation hearing of Trump.

“The Republicans have just voted to confirm Emil Bove. Despite the reporters confirming that he urged them to ignore court orders,” said Schiff in a post of Tuesday X. “Although he was clear, he lied to the judicial committee. And despite the danger, he poses in the rule of law. The corruption of the bench continues.”

No democrat voted to support Bove. They were joined by the Republican senses. Lisa Murkowski from Alaska and Susan Collins from Maine.

Meanwhile, the president of the Senate’s judicial committee Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said on Tuesday on the floor of the Senate that he had argued Bove and said that Bove had faced “accusations and unfair abuses”.

After represented Trump in his criminal proceedings, Bove joined Trump’s Ministry of Justice to be the main deputy prosecutor general.

Meanwhile, Schiff was examined for his own alleged misconduct and was referred to the Ministry of Justice for criminal proceedings resulting from a controversy on a mortgage document.

The director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency of the United States (FHFA) wrote a letter to the Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Deputy Prosecutor General Todd Blanche in May, describing an allegedly alleged mischief of Schiff on his houses in Maryland and California.

The director of the FHFA, William Pulte, wrote in the letter, obtained by Fox News Digital Monday, that Schiff “falsified bank documents and property files to acquire more favorable loan conditions, which concerns payments from 2003 to 2019 for a property based in Potomac, in Maryland.”

It is not clear if the Ministry of Justice has yet launched actions against Schiff, and the Ministry of Justice refused to comment to Fox News Digital.

The Schiff office did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital.

Meanwhile, Trump took the heels against Schiff for years – and did it again in July, saying that he would like to see Schiff “brought to justice”.

“I have always suspected that Shifty, Adam Schiff, was a crook,” Trump posted on Truth Social on July 15. “And now, I learn that the Fannie Mae’s financial crimes division concluded that Adam Schiff has embarked on a supported diagram of mortgage fraud possible.”

In response, Schiff said that Trump’s allegations were equivalent to “attempted political remuneration without foundation”.

“Since I directed his first indictment, Trump repeatedly called for me to be arrested for betrayal,” said Schiff in a post of July 15. “So, in a way, I guess it’s a bit of a disappointment. And this attempt at baseless political reprisals will not prevent me from holding it responsible. Not from a distance.”
