“I will unequivocally say that the men and women who took care of President Trump that day, who were in his details and in this stamp, were above everything,” said Zito. “These men and women were doing their job well when they got into the line of fire.”
Zito, who refused to get off when she heard the gunshots, said Trump was “surrounded by a sea of blue”.
“They put it in a protection position, and they put their lives at stake,” said Zito. “Nothing should be removed from this bravery at that time. These field officers were heroes that day.”
Trump recovered of his close assassination With a little more than an ear paste ball, thanks to the immigration board, he turned his head in front. One participant in the rally, the firefighter Corey Comperatore, was killed and two others were seriously injured by gunshots.

In the moments that followed the shots, Zito said that what she had seen then was “really very remarkable”.
“People remained quite ordered there. There was no precipitation. There was no jostling. You saw the doctors take care of the people who had fallen (or) injured. But you especially saw people get out and through the field,” said Zito.
Zito said he was “incredible” to see “how people left.” An hour later, when she returned to the large parking lot, they had not let a car leave, so there were thousands of supporters of Trump together.
