Farmingdale, ny – Everyone has a plan until they are struck in the face, and that’s exactly what happened to Team USA Friday morning at Bethpage Black.
For the first time in the history of the Ryder Cup, Team Europe won each of the first three games on American soil to take a 3-0 lead (Europe needs 14 points to keep the cup).
The last five games of the day have been established at 2.5-2.5, but Europe is where they want to be.

After the first three games of the day that did not even reach the 16th hole, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele were able to shine in the morning and take a point.
The afternoon session seemed to go to the United States, but Tommy Fleetwood Shapes like a legend of the Ryder Cup. At the bottom of a hole, Fleetwood observed 14, then gave himself and Justin took an advance of 1 with another Birdie on 16. Rose’s Birdie out of 18 won the fifth point of Europe, shortly after another dominant victory over Jon Rahm.
Ketown Kid Cameron Young and Justin Thomas, who lost alongside Bryson Dechambeau in the morning, won a dominant victory of 6 and 5 on Ludvig Aberg and Rasmus Hojgaard. Cantlay and Sam Burns returned from Down Two to have the last match of the day.
Rahm and Fleetwood combined to go 4-0-0 Friday. Yes, it is the same Fleetwood which has never even won a PGA Tour event until a month ago, but is now 9-3-2 in his career as Ryder Cup. But the captain of the Europe team Luke Donald congratulated the British to be a “world class” golfer.

Trump salutes Bryson Dechambeau to Ryder Cup to launch the afternoon session
“It took him a little time and had to go through a few opportunities that allow you to slide for sure, but I think, you know, for Tommy, he refreshes it in such a positive way. I think that if you see it positively, those who run away, it does not make you stronger,” said Donald after Friday’s game.
“I think Tommy is a guy who just likes to be with the team. He likes to contribute to this team. Yes, he is a nice player to play with. I think he is at the top of the list of many guys in the team with which people want to play.”
Simultaneously, Scottie Scheffler and Dechambeau combined to go 0-4-0, with Scheffler, the world n ° 1, without ever reaching the 17th hole.
The United States now needs to set up a return if he wants to avoid being the first team to lose on the ground at home since he did in 2012. No one has won the Ryder Cups since Europe won three games directly from 2010 to 2014.
