Russia unleashes a swarm of massive drones on Ukraine while the NATO jets have scraped

NATO jets were scrambled overnight while Russia has made its greatest drone attack to date against Ukraine, launching more than 700 drones, officials said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the “new massive Russian attack against our cities” implied “728 drones of various types, including more than 300 shaheds and 13 missiles – Kinzhals and Iskanders.

“Most of the targets have been shot. Our interceptor drones have been used – dozens of enemy targets have been shot, and we extend this technology.

The Air Force of Ukraine said that the aggression mainly aimed at the city of northwestern Lutsk and according to preliminary data, “the neutralized aerial defenses 7,18 enemy air attack vehicles, 303 were slaughtered by fire, 415 were lost on the spot.”

While the attack took place, the army of Poland – which borders Ukraine – said that “Ukraine, the Polish and the Allied aviation began to operate in our airspace”.

“In accordance with the applicable procedures, all the forces and resources available at the disposal of the Operational Commander of the Polish armed forces have been activated, the pairs of hunter hunters have been blurred, and the air recognition and radar systems on the ground have reached the highest state of preparation”, he wrote on X. “The measures taken are intended to guarantee security in the threatened areas”.

He later added that “due to the reduction in the threat level of missile strikes by Russian aviation in Ukrainian territory, Polish and allied aviation operations in the Polish airspace were concluded and the forces and resources activated returned to standard operational activities.”

Zelenskyy said that damage has also been reported in the Dnipro, Zytomyr, Kyiv, Kirohrad, Mykolav, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.

“This is a revealing attack – and this comes precisely at a time when so much effort was made to achieve peace, to establish a cease -fire, and yet only Russia continues to repel them. This is another proof of the need for sanctions – biting the sanctions against oil, which wrote on the Moscow war machine.
