The White House said that Russia was trying to sow “distrust and chaos”, even if the reports of the office of the Director of National Intelligence suggest that the Obama administration “manipulated” Russian interference in Trump’s victory in 2016.
The press secretary, Karoline Leavitt was asked, whether the post of Secretary of State Marco Rubio when he managed the Senate Intelligence Committee was in line with the Director of new national intelligence conclusions.
“He said what they found was disturbing,” Leavitt said, when he was standing next to the Tulsi Gabbard national intelligence director during a White House press briefing on Wednesday. “We found irrefutable evidence of Russian interference, which the national intelligence director has just confirmed for all of you that Russia was trying to sow distrust and chaos.”
“What is the indignation in this – that secretary Rubio did not say at the time, the Democrats said at the time – is the fact that the intelligence community concocted this story that the president collus with the Russians, that the president’s son held secret meetings with the Russians, all these lies which were never true,” she continued.

New evidence of Russiagate “directly indicate” Obama, the Doj will decide “criminal implications”: Gabbard
In 2020, the Senate Intelligence Committee, led by the Sen. Rubio, published an “irrefutable evidence” report in Russian interference in the 2016 elections. Now Gabbard claims that Obama officials have manipulated information to undermine Trump’s victory by playing Russia’s actions in the 2016 elections.
But, Rubio declared at the time, “we can say, without any hesitation, that the committee found absolutely no evidence that the candidate of the time Donald Trump or his campaign had a collus with the Russian government to mingle in the 2016 elections.”
He added that the report had found “deeply disturbing actions” in the name of the FBI “, in particular their acceptance and their desire to rely on the” Steele file “without verifying its methodology or supply”.
The Steele file was funded by the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton and the National Democratic Committee by the law firm Perkins Coie.
Recently published documents By Gabbard found that the information showing that Russian actors did not have an impact on the 2016 elections had been “deleted”.
The Obama Administration “made and politicized information” to create the story that Russia was trying to influence the 2016 presidential election, despite information from the intelligence community indicating the opposite, said Gabbard.
Gabbard also said that the declassified documents had been shared with the Ministry of Justice and the FBI so that these agencies can assess whether criminal implications arising from materials are justified.
Obama’s spokesman Patrick Rodenbush responded to DNI’s assertions: “By respect for the presidency office, our office normally not worthy of the constant nonsense and the disinformation that flows from this white house with an answer. But these affirmations are sufficiently scandalous for merit.”
“Nothing in the document published last week divides the conclusion widely accepted according to which Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but has failed to manipulate votes. These conclusions were confirmed in a 2020 report by the intelligence committee of the Bipartite Senate, led by President Marco Rubio of the time,” he added.
The Rubio office referred Fox News Digital to Leavitt’s comments.

Gabbard claims that Obama’s objective with Russia’s account was to “overthrow” the will of the American people
The documents said that intelligence officials had found that Russia “probably did not try … to influence the election by using cyber-media”.
An example took place on December 7, 2016, weeks after the elections. James Clapper’s national intelligence of discussion points said: “Foreign opponents did not use cyber attacks on electoral infrastructure to modify the result of American presidential elections.”
A daily presidential dossier prepared for President Barack Obama in 2016 assessed: “Russian and criminal actors did not have an impact on the recent results of the US elections by conducting malware against electoral infrastructure.”
However, the thesis revealed that “the actors affiliated to the Russian government most likely compromised a database of registration for the voters of Illinois and have tried the same thing without success in other states”.

The memoir said that it was “very improbable” that the effort “would have led to the modification of the official result of any state”.
“Criminal activity has also not reached the extent and sophistication necessary to modify the results of the elections,” he said.
The thesis said that the Office of the National Intelligence Director assessed Russian activities “were probably intended to cause psychological effects, such as undermining the credibility of the electoral process and candidates”.

Obama officials “then disclosed false statements to the media,” according to Gabbard’s office, saying that “Russia tried by the Cyber-Moyen to intervene, if not actively influence, the outcome of an election”.
