A spokesperson for the European Commission accused the Russian government of blocking GPS systems from an aircraft carrying President Ursula von der Leyen on Monday while flying over Bulgaria.
The spokesperson for the European Commission, Arianna Podestà, confirmed that Von der Leyen’s plane landed safely at Plovdiv airport. The European leader is currently on the tour of the European Union nations limiting Russia and Bélarus.
