The announcement of the Secretary of State Marco Rubio this week interrupting the work visas for the drivers of foreign commercial trucks praised the conservatives following a fatal accident in Florida.

“In force immediately, we stop any workplace visa visas for commercial truck drivers,” Rubio announced on X Thursday. “The growing number of foreign drivers operating large semi-trailer trucks on American roads endangers American lives and undercoke the livelihoods of American truckers.”

This decision follows a fatal accident in Florida in which an illegal immigrant from India would have hit and killed three people by driving a truck. The questions are still looming on how he obtained a commercial driving license, because federal investigators say that the suspect, Harjinder Singh, failed the skill tests in English and road panels.

“There are legitimate questions about how these foreign truck drivers qualified, following the horrible episode in Florida, where an illegal non-English-speaking foreigner who should never have received a driving license caused the death of three people while he has botched an illegal turnover in the middle of a divided highway,” said Vaughan.

Americans cannot depend on trucking companies and state regulators to ensure that foreign truck drivers are competent and safe, she added.

The director of the Borders’ Security and Immigration Center of the Heritage Foundation, said that it was “road safety and the integrity of immigration”.
