The Secretary of Health and Social Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., found himself in the arena on Thursday morning.
Salle 215 of the Dirksen Senate office building is not a conventional “arena”. It is the courtroom of the Senate Committee Finance, but the circumstances converted the room into such a place.
Kennedy had to appear in front of the Senate funding panel long before “occurring”, but “August” of Kennedy is what has put the special accent on the appearance of Kennedy.
RFK Jr. Susan Monarez, the director of newly confirmed disease control centers – four weeks after the senators have launched her appointment – and has published new rigorous and controversial eligibility guidelines for people to receive a Covid -19 booster this fall.

The forum was hostile. The hearing for Kennedy quickly set up a verbal judo match. He argued with the senators of the two parties. They played on science and politics, but the heart of the conflict was internal disorders to the CDC and the vaccines.
“Do you accept the fact that a million Americans died from Covid?” asked Senator Mark Warner, D-VA., From Kennedy.
“I don’t know how many people are dead,” said Kennedy.
Warner was apoplectic.
“You are the secretary of health and social services. You have no idea of the number of Americans died from COVID?” asked an incredulous warner.
“I don’t think someone knows it because there were so many data from the CDC,” said Kennedy.

This warner perplexed.
“The Secretary of Health and Social Services does not know how many people have died of Cavid? Do not know if the vaccine has helped to prevent deaths. And you are the secretary of health and social services,” continued Warner. “How can you be this ignorant?”

It was only part of the unloading of Democrats on Kennedy.
“You are so wrong on your facts,” accused the secretary by taking senator Maria Cantwell, D-Wash.
The Washington Democrat did not.
“You interrupt me. And, sir, you are a charlatan,” said Cantwell. “You are the one who confuses chronic diseases with the need for vaccines.”
“You put in danger of the health of American babies.
At one point, RFK Jr. fought with Senator Michael Bennet, D-Colo.
“You escape the question,” Kennedy shouted to the senator.

Bennet would not allow the witness to return the script.
“I ask the questions here! I ask the questions!” Bennet thundered. “I ask questions on behalf of the parents, schools and teachers from the United States of America who deserve so much better than your leadership.”

But the secretary gave as well as she had.
“You invent things to scare people and it’s a lie,” alleged Kennedy in the face of the questions of Senator Maggie Hassan, DN.H.
He continued to accuse Hassan of “Crazy Talk” and said that she was “just inventing things”.

The new guenédy Jab directives are up to the hearing.
He told Warren that “anyone can get the booster”.
“So you say it’s now the official rule. Everyone is eligible to get a booster when entering the pharmacy?” questioned Warren.
“It is not recommended for healthy people,” said Kennedy.
“No, no!” retorted Warren. “If you do not recommend it, the consequence of this in many states is that you cannot enter a pharmacy and get one.”

The whip of the majority of the John Barrasso Senate, R-Wyo., Is an orthopedist, but even he was upset by the vaccine of Kennedy vaccine.
“In your confirmation audiences, you have promised to meet the highest standards for vaccines,” said Barrasso. “Since then, I have become deeply worried.”
Senator Thom Tillis, RN.C., who is no stranger to call the Trump administration, warned Kennedy to walk carefully on vaccines.
“We play with fire here,” warned Tillis outside the courtroom. “If mortality rates increase for children who are not vaccinated, they must have it.

The president of the Senate health committee, Bill Cassidy, r-la., Is gastroenterologist. He was skeptical about Kennedy’s qualifications for the position – before finally voting to confirm it. Cassidy seemed disconcerted by the secretary’s position on vaccines.
“Do you agree with me that the president deserves a Nobel Prize for the speed of deformation of the operation?” Questioned Cassidy about the Trump administration’s effort to accelerate a COVVI-19 shot in 2020.
“Yeah, absolutely, senator. It’s phenomenal,” replied Kennedy.

“But you just told Senator Bennet that the cocovio vaccine killed more people than wearing?” said Cassidy.
“Wait! I didn’t say that!” Kennedy retaliated, but Cassidy was not over.
“It surprises me that you were thinking so strongly of the Warp Speed operation, when as a lawyer, you tried to restrict access,” said Cassidy.

During the hearing, Kennedy said on several occasions that he had kept Monarez as head of the CDC because she had not told the truth.
“Do you tell yourself that the former CDC chief went to you and you asked,” Are you a trustworthy person? “And she said,” No, I’m not a trustworthy person, “said Senator Bernie Sanders, I-VT.
“She didn’t say” no. I am not a trustworthy person. “She said” no, “said Kennedy.
“Wow!” Sanders exclaimed.

Senator Roger Marshall, R-Kan., Who is an ob-gyn, defended the dismissal-even if President Trump appointed Monarez and Marshall has just supported his confirmation in July.
“I voted for her. I made a mistake. I thought she could do the work. But unfortunately, she is not part of the mission of President Kennedy’s secretary reversing the CDC,” said Marshall.
As we said, August “occurred”.
VP vance cursed the senators after a heated Kennedy hearing: “ full of s — and everyone knows it ”
Senator Ron Johnson, R-WISC., Criticized his colleagues who attacked Kennedy and he noted that each senator had only marked five minutes to question the secretary.
“Thank you for your desire to serve and have supported these abuses,” Johnson told Kennedy. “Five minutes are not even close to refuting all the lies that have been spit with confidence during this hearing.”
Vice-President JD Vance also went with Kennedy, displaying on social networks that “Democrats are absolutely burnt down by @Seckennedy”.
He added that the Democrats were “full of sh * t and that everyone knows it”.

The turmoil is not over. Kennedy told senators that he could dismiss other CDC officials. And we can imagine the questions about COVID-19 that could emerge this fall and this winter if there is another push.
The President of the Senate Finance Committee, Michael Crapo, R-Idaho, granted Senator Ron Wyden, D-ear., The best Democrat in the Panel, some additional questions at the end of the hearing. Crapo then asked Kennedy if he cared to add fence remarks.
Kennedy refused the invitation.
“I’m going to have mercy on everyone and let us go,” he said.
Until there is another foray into the arena.
