Readers of science fiction and fantasy – or those who are curious to dive into genres – it’s time to rejoice. The finalists of the 2025 Locus Awards are there.

The finalists below were selected on the basis of public votes. The winners of each of the categories will be announced on June 21, during the Locus award ceremony. Keeping in the Nile Hall at Preservation Park in Oakland, California, the award ceremony can be assisted by anyone, and this year’s event will be organized by Mc Gail Carriger and the special guests Tochi Onyebuchi and Sarah Gailey.
