Ramaswamy, who was approved by President Donald Trump, noted that he was the only big republican candidate at the moment in the race to succeed the Governor of the Mike Dewine Limited Gop.

“I am without opposition in a republican primary in a state that certainly leans reliably, and I am proud to say that we have united, not only the republicans of Ohio, but we are starting to draw the support of a wide range of non-traditional donors, entrepreneurs, young people,” he added.

Lieutenant-Governor of Ohio, Jim Tresl, a former football coach of the Ohio of Ohio for a long time who was then president of the Youngstown State University, said earlier that he was considering a race for the governor. But speculation surrounding Tresl has been blurred in recent weeks after his first comments have not been followed by an ad.

When he was asked if he had concerns about the confrontation of a competitive primary, Ramaswamy said: “None, zero”.

“I really like Jim. He and I had great conversations, no one of which concerned this race,” said Ramaswamy. “I actually consider him as a guy who brings a great spirit and a great tenor in Ohio. And I consider the trainer Tresl as an asset that I want to see our state continue to use to rekindle our sense of unity, spirit and ambition and the pursuit of success.”

In the race for democratic appointment in the battlefield of the state that has become, the former director of the Ohio Ministry of Health, Amy Acton, launched an offer from governor in January.

But all eyes are on the former longtime Democratic senator Sherrod Brown, who narrowly lost his headquarters in the Senate in last year’s elections to Gop Senator Bernie Moreno.

It is believed that Brown is a potential candidate in the Senate or the Governor’s breeds.

Ramaswamy said that he would love that the Democrats have a competitive primary while I continue to run without opposition in this race. “

But he suggested that it did not matter that calling the Democrats because “it is not against whom we are running, that is why we run”.

“I think we have incredible strength,” he added before predicting “that we are going to defeat who we will face, I believe, a decisive margin”.

Ramaswamy, 39, launched his presidential campaign in February 2023 and quickly saw his stock increase while he was going from a long -term shot to a candidate for republican appointment, as part of a field of candidates contesting Trump.

He campaigned on what he called a “America First 2.0” program and was one of Trump’s greatest supporters in the competitors, calling Trump the “most successful president of our century”.

Ramaswamy abandoned his candidacy for the White House at the beginning of last year after a fourth distant place in the Caucus of Iowa and quickly approved Trump, becoming a better substitute on the campaign campaign.

Trump, in the days following his November presidential electoral victory, appointed Elon Musk, the richest person in the world, as well as Ramaswamy, to direct the initiative of the newly announced government’s efficiency department, better known as Doge.

But in January, as Trump was inaugurated, the new administration announced that Ramaswamy was no longer used in Doge. The release of Ramaswamy paved the way to Musk, Trump’s best donor and, at the time, a key ally, to direct Doge without having to share the spotlights. Ramaswamy quickly turned to the launch of a race for the governor.

“The problem n ° 1 that I see resonate at all levels, in a non-partisan way, is the recognition that we are in the midst of this crisis of educational realization,” he added.

And Ramaswamy insisted that “anyone who is a parent, or even anyone who is a young graduate recently from school, recognizes that this will be a problem that we must turn around, to preserve our place, the first country in the world, and this is the project that we are going to do with Ohio Ground Zero for the United States.”
