Putin invites Zelenskyy for talks in Moscow as Ukraine Russian bombs

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that he had not excluded the possibility of meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and invited him to come to Moscow, according to the Russian media, Tass.

“If Zelenskyy is ready for a meeting, let him come to Moscow,” said Putin, according to a translation of the remarks issued by China, where he met Chinese President Xi Jinping and the North Korean leader Kim Jong one for a military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Second World War.

Zelenskyy has proposed face -to -face meetings with Putin on several occasions using a third third nation like Turkey, although the chief of the Kremlin has so far refused to engage directly with the Ukrainian president.

While European leaders firmly supported Zelenskyy in opposition to Putin, Trump’s position has remained more ambiguous since its entry into office.
