Police reject the lawyer’s conclusions to try to prove the innocence of Kyren Lacy

Kyren Lacy’s lawyer provided potential evidence in order to prove the innocence of the late LSU star for the accusations he faced before dying of suicide in April.
Lacy was the subject of an investigation in Louisiana for an accident in December which left Herman Hall, 78, a passenger, dead, announced officials in January. He was accused of having driven recklessly – accelerate and go to a non -passing area – when the motorist has swerved to avoid Lacy and crashed into another vehicle.
However, in an interview with HTV10Lacy’s lawyer, Matthew Ory, provided a video that seems to show Lacy’s vehicle behind the accident and that he was over 200 feet from cars on impact.

“We know from data that Kyren Lacy has actually spent four cars. There is no dispute. Further north, Kyren Lacy has spent four cars,” said Ory.
“However, he was back in his travelway, 92.3 yards – back in his way – behind Mr. Hall. At the time of the impact, he is 72.6 meters behind the vehicles at the time of the impact. Keyword: behind the vehicles. This is not how this story was painted.”
ORY also provided data that showed another vehicle, “vehicle 2”, the Trucks of the truck that crashed into the hall of the vehicle was, nearly 50 mph to only 0.5 seconds behind and 1.5 seconds before the accident.
Ory also provided Bodycam images of an officer speaking to a man in this truck who said that the driver of vehicle 2 “had” caused “the accident despite the police who told the man to note details concerning Lacy in his declaration, which was finally refused.

Police from the State of Louisiana published the following statement to Fox News Digital in response to proof of ORY.
“After the accident, the LSP conducted a detailed investigation with the help of accident reconstruction experts and with all the information available at the time. Culpable before a court.
“No one disputes that he was behind the scene of accidents. His passing and passers -by cars and his reckless operation caused the series of events of Crash.”

Rocky Arceneaux, the agent of Lacy, said in January that his client cooperated with the authorities in the investigation.
Lacy was transferred to LSU in 2022. He had his best season in 2024, when he recorded 58 catches for 866 yards and nine affected.
