NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said in a statement on Wednesday that “a full assessment of the incident was underway”.

Rutte confirmed that the attack on night drones not only scrambled Polish war planes, but also Dutch F-35s, Italian airborne alarm and control systems, a NATO multi-roll oil transport system for air supply to air and German patriots were “activated” and “managed to defend the territory of NATO”.
