Biden signed most of his more than 4,000 leniency documents in the decreasing months of his presidency, a point that Trump and the Congress Republicans jumped to hammer in the claims that the cognitive capacity of the former president was down and that his staff run the White House.
Trump went so far as to ask the Attorney General Pam Bondi to open an investigation into the use by Biden of the Autopen, while the Republicans in the Senate and the Chamber all have kept their own committee hearings on the issue.
