“I’m sorry to miss all of my CPAC friends today,” said Bondi in his statement.

“Unfortunately, I recover from a recently torn cornea, which prevents me from being with you,” she continued. “I really want to be able to join you and support all the work carried out on this critical issue.”

After reading the declaration, scattered applause was heard by the public.

“We appreciate the applause for her and not the hoots for me,” joked Galeotti. “So I will do my best to fill these big shoes.”

The Ministry of Justice has not disclosed additional information on Bondi’s state of health.

Other Trump administration officials spoke during the event, including the secretary at the Ministry of Internal Security Kristi Noem and the border TSAR Tom Homan.

Bondi’s canceled appearance comes as recent against the Trump administration’s refusal to release documents surrounding the case of the deceased sex predator Jeffrey Epstein.

According to a new report by the Wall Street Journal, Bondi informed President Donald Trump in May that his name appeared several times in Epstein documents.

The Attorney General said earlier this year that an Epstein “list of customers” was on his office before the Ministry of Justice and the FBI recently stated that Epstein had committed suicide and that there was no evidence that he had kept such a list. Bondi also delivered her previous comments, saying that she was referring to the Epstein file, not to a “list of customers”.

Trump has sought to avoid Epstein’s subject in recent weeks, arguing several times that the question has no importance. He also said that he no longer wanted the support of his former supporters who continue to press the Epstein case, criticizing them as “weak”.

The president told the White House last week that Bondi could free up “everything that is credible” linked to the Epstein case when he defended his work on the issue and criticized the Republicans who always put pressure for Epstein equipment to be released.

“He died. He left,” said Trump about Epstein. “And, everything is, they are the Republicans, some Republicans were duped by the Democrats, and they follow a democratic game book and not different from Russia, Russia, Russia and all the other hoax.”

The administration finally asked a judge to provide transcriptions of the Grand Jury procedure in Florida in Epstein in the midst of calls for transparency on the case, but the request was refused.
