President Donald Trump announced on Saturday morning that he planned to send troops to Portland, Oregon, in the midst of anti-gloss demonstrations in the blue city.

“At the request of internal security secretary, Kristi Noem, I direct the war secretary, Pete Hegseth, to provide all the troops necessary to protect the Rava War Rava Portland, and any of our ice facilities under the siege of the Antifa attack and other domestic terrorists,” Trump posted on Saturday morning.

“I also authorize full strength, if necessary. Thank you for your attention to this question!” He added.

The demonstrations have broken out in the city since June, and the city officials have put a notice of violation of the use of land on an ice center to challenge the duration of the prisoners there, as well as another violation for the windows on board.

The anti-gloss graffiti were scribbled outside the building, and the demonstrations sometimes became violent between the demonstrators and the federal agents, which prompted the authorities to use rubber, tear gas and flash gases to break the crowd.

In August, demonstrators were also taken on the camera by posting a guillotine and facing the police before the police dismiss the ammunition to disperse the crowd.

Portland has been declared a sanctuary city since 2017, which means that it does not largely respect federal immigration application activities. Blue cities have become flash points in the midst of the repression of Trump’s immigration, especially when the troops were sent to Los Angeles during anti-gloss demonstrations in June, and the conflict with the Democrats and New Jersey authorities outside Delaney Hall in Newark in May.

“You are informed by the present that your jurisdiction has been identified as that which engages sanctuary policies and practices which have thwarted the federal immigration law at the expense of the interests of the United States. This ends now,” said the Attorney General Pam Bond Application.

Meanwhile, Portland City lawyer Robert Taylor wrote in response that the city follows the law.

“Please take this letter as a response from the city that the city of Portland is in accordance with the applicable federal and state laws, and the city of Portland will continue to follow these laws,” wrote Taylor.
