The Ohio des Teamsters conference approved Vivek Ramaswamy for the governor, in a passage from the past support of the Democrats, confirmed his campaign to Fox News Digital.
The biotechnology entrepreneur and former presidential candidate in 2024 has already obtained a handful of union notices for the elections of governors of 2026, according to the Ohio Dispatch.
His campaign said he had already been approved by the Ohio State Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters, the Central Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters, the Cleveland Building Trades Council and the Northwest Ohio Building & Construction Trades Council.
Interestingly, the Ohio State Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters and the Central Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters have both approved the Democratic candidate of Sherrod Brown.

It was also approved by President Donald Trump and the Ohio Republican Party.
The Ohio teamsters, which represents more than 50,000 workers in the state, had previously supported the former representative of Ohio, Tim Ryan, who has not yet decided if he entered the governor’s race.
The Ramaswamy campaign told Fox News Digital earlier this month that nearly $ 220,000 of the contributions raised in their first months as a candidate came from people who previously given Ryan.
