A No Kings protester was arrested after cops said he was the man who tripped over a man who shouted gay slurs at protesters in a video that is now going viral.
Here’s the deal… A video is circulating online that captures a moment from a protest that happened in Denver on Saturday — where you hear a man chanting for the president as he dismisses “No Kings” protesters.
His antics reach a fever pitch when you hear the guy use a gay slur… yelling at someone, “Get on your bike, you motherfucker.” The video shows a young man carrying a skateboard and then appears stealing his glasses and tearing them off in the street.
Karma…

You see this guy giving chase… and he appears to slip and fall hard into the street – before getting up to chase again. After running a little further, he appears to have been tripped by someone and hit the ground hard.
Police say they have now arrested the person they believe tripped him up, a 20-year-old man Jose Cardenas. They claim he “caused a serious laceration” to the victim’s head.
Cops say they showed Cardenas to witnesses of the accident…and they say those witnesses identified Cardenas as the person responsible. He was taken to the Denver Jail and charged with aggravated assault.
To be clear, the person arrested at this time is not the one who removed the glasses from the man’s face earlier in the video. Denver police told TMZ the case remains under investigation.
