Among the files made public by the Chamber’s surveillance committee is a document that stands out for its tone: a brilliant album of 238 pages which offers a rare and unusually intimate overview of the self-controlled network of Jeffrey Epstein.
The infamous “Birday Book”, compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003, for the 50th of Epstein understands what seems to be notes of former president Bill Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, as well as photographs that juxtapose friends, animals, children’s drawings with financiers and politicians – a painting that feels more disturbing today.

Maxwell wrote to Epstein at the start of the book that she wanted to “bring together stories and old photographs to make guy from memory on places, people and different events”. She hoped that he “would take as much pleasure to look at him” as she assembled him for him.
Later in the book, a photo of the two canoeing appears with a legend that reads “the first date”, marked from 1991.

Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 sex trafficking and other offenses and purges a 20 -year prison sentence. Prosecutors said that she had played a central role in the Epstein plan, attracting minor girls to what started as massages and turned into sexual abuse.
Now 63 years old and imprisoned since his arrest in 2020, Maxwell told the Sub-Corner General Todd Blanche at the end of August that she had no role in the sexual exploitation of minors. Asked about the “birthday book”, she told Blanche that she only remembered some parts, adding that it had been years that she had not compiled it.

Among the entrances to the book is an apparent note from Bill Clinton, where the former Democratic president praises Epstein’s “childish curiosity” and his “willingness to make a difference” as well as the “(illegible) of friends”.

Dershowitz, a former law professor at Harvard University who once represented Epstein during criminal investigations, used his birthday note to make a joke on the influence of media coverage.
“Dear Jeffrey, as a birthday gift for you, I managed to get a first version of Vanity Unfair’s article. I tried them to change the orientation of you to Bill Clinton, as you will see from the attached extract. Happy birthday and better greetings,” said the entrance.

Dershowitz has repeatedly denied reprehensible acts with regard to Epstein.
The birthday book also contained sentimental messages from family and friends. In a note, Epstein’s mother, Pauline Stolofsky Epstein, wrote that she was “very busy remembering since Ghislaine asked me to write about you”.
“Jeff (,), you have been a good son since the first day and we have been proud of you since,” said Epstein’s mother.

“I remember that you refused to sleep (when I was a child) unless I read a story of the Grandmother’s guest book that she bought for 25c,” she added. “During PTA meetings, I begged your teachers to improve your writing.”

She also referred to the life of Epstein as a single, as well as to her media criminals.
“At 21, Cosmopolitan magazine presented you as” Bachelor of the Month “, wrote Pauline Epstein.” Today, you will still hold this title. “

“Jeff, I’m really sorry that dad can not share the nachus (Pride) We have with regard to your achievements, “she added.” He would have been delighted to read the article about you in New York magazine. “”
The book presents hundreds of photos of Epstein’s life until the age of 50, including photos of him as a child and adolescent.
