National Guard deployed in Washington; The authorities intensify the repression of the crime

On Wednesday afternoon, around 400 members of the National Guard of DC reported on the national capital in response to the directive of President Donald Trump to help make Washington “safe, clean and beautiful,” an American army official told Fox News.
Hundreds of other DC National Guard troops should arise for functions later Wednesday and Thursday, with a much higher presence on the field on Wednesday evening. At the end of the week, the 800 that was activated will have been reported.
The law enforcement officials have carried out 103 arrests since August 7, when Trump’s order to “federalize” DC and reprimand against crime has been announced and more agents of the law enforcement have taken up the street.

The guards were spotted by driving on military vehicles near the National Mall on Wednesday evening. The troops gathered at the DC armory before deploying near the monuments and near a building in the American park in the criminal district of Anacostia in the south-east of DC
In addition to sending Trump, Trump has placed the DC metropolitan police department under federal control, using the domicile rule law which allows him to do so up to 30 days.

Monday, the federal and local authorities 23 arrestsIncluding the suspected suspects for murder, crimes of firearms and other crimes. On Tuesday, they carried out 43 arrests and 24 guns were seized.
While only 30 troops of the National Guard were on the ground on Tuesday evening, more than 1,450 participated in operations, including 750 officers from the Metropolitan Police Department and federal law enforcement agents.
From Wednesday evening, operations will be active 24 hours a day rather than simple hours of the evening.

The operation led by the White House will not only discuss crime but also homelessness in the district. For campsite in DC federal parks under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service, the options are to leave, to go to a shelter for homeless or go to prison.

Trump described the federalization of the police as a “day of liberation at DC”, declaring “we are going to resume our capital”.
