The National Association for the Advancement of Colorful People (NAACP) pursues Texas on its redistribution plan which would eliminate five democratic seats in the Congress.

The NAACP filed the pursuit on Tuesday, arguing that the new congress card “was promulgated with an unacceptable discriminatory objective and controlling on the basis of the breed”. He appoints the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott and the Secretary of State of Texas Jane Nelson as a complainant.

“It is quite obvious that the efforts of Texas to redirect mid-December, before the mid-term elections next year, are motivated by race.

Meanwhile, the NAACP said that it also encouraged blue states to implement their own redistribution plans in order to compensate for the effects of the new Texas card.

“Currently, NAACP urges California, New York and all other states to act immediately by redistigating and passing new, legal and constitutional electoral cards,” the group wrote on Tuesday. “We must counter the unconstitutional decision of Texas and ensure that if everything else fails, black Americans still have a voice in the congress.”

Texas succeeded in its new card on Saturday, winning political victory despite the weeks of democrats who break the quorum, which included the leak of the state to avoid a re -cutting vote.
