Multiple killed in the shot of the Bangkok market, shot found dead

Several people were shot dead on a market in the Thai capital in Bangkok on Monday afternoon, police announced.
An article on the official Facebook page of the Thai royal police indicates that there have been at least six deaths, including the shooter who committed suicide.

The photos show the police at the market site or Tor Kor in Bangkok, which sells agricultural products and local food.
The victims included four security agents and a woman, according to the Emergency Medical Center Erawan which monitors hospitals in Bangkok.

Monday’s violence came in the context of five days of violent border clashes between Thailand and its neighbor, Cambodia.

The leaders on each side gathered in Malaysia on Monday in an urgent effort to resolve the fighting.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said officials of the State Department were on the ground in Malaysia to help the peace talks.

“President Trump and I are engaged with our respective counterparts for each country and are very close to monitoring the situation,” Rubio said in a statement. “We want this conflict to end as soon as possible.”
