More than half of the $ 1 million than the mayor’s campaign of Zohran Mamdani were made this summer, come from outside the city, revealed that data from the New York campaign funding board.
The Mamdani campaign announced last week that the democratic socialist had raised $ 1,051,204.85 in July and August, the most recent deposit period In the New York mayor race.
While the countryside was more than 8,628 unique donors in their latest fundraising transport, Data from the Campaign Board of Directors revealed that 53.5%, or $ 562,422, from the collection of funds from Mamdani came from outside the New York State.
Only one in eight of Mamdani’s unique donors actually live in New York. The other donors of around 87%, or 7,506, have provided more than half of the money collected.

Maria Bartiromo, former Governor Andrew Cuomo de Mamdani, told former governor Andrew Cuomo that he had lost the June primary because Mamdani “mobilized 20 to 30 years, socialists, socialist organizations across the country sent volunteers, sent funding.”

Cuomo said that the next general elections are a “very different electorate”, which will include democrats, republicans and moderate independents.
But as Mamdani, more than half of Cuomo donations, 52%, came from outside New York.

The former governor collected more than $ 507,660 in the five weeks which followed the revival of his mayor campaign, including a contribution of $ 68,225 of his campaign account at the state of his moment.
Meanwhile, among the donations of the Republican Curtis Sliwa, around 66% of its $ 407,332 collected came from New York.
Outgoing mayor Eric Adams raised $ 420,886 during the deposit period, including 60% of his donations from the Big Apple.

Mamdani’s campaign has relaunched their solicitation efforts at the city scale on the heels of their fundraising transport, praising more than 2,000 volunteers that strike more than 50,000 doors in New York.
The campaign also said that more than 4,000 New Yorkers attended Mamdani treasure hunt on Sunday, an event that Mamdani described as “love for New York”.

“With more than 50,000 volunteers, thousands of donors of small dollars and a real enthusiasm for Zohran’s vision for a more affordable New York city, our momentum is angry,” said Mamdani’s campaign spokesperson Dora Pekec in a statement celebrating fundraising.
Mamdani’s campaign added that they are “proud to be fueled by the real basic support that talks about the movement powered by the people we build”.
The campaign did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.
