More Iranians with criminal history arrested by ice officials

EXCLUSIVE: Tuesday morning, at least five other Iranian nationals were arrested on Monday, in addition to the 11 announced by the Ministry of Internal Security.

Monday, Mohammad Hassanpoor, 45, was arrested by Baltimore police and received a “third opinion from the county”. He has already been criminally sentenced for “assault with a weapon or deadly force likely to produce large bodily injuries”, where he was sentenced to just under a year behind bars.

He was also sentenced to about three months behind bars for “battery: spouse / ex SP / Date / etc.” and sentenced to two years for harassment.

Kaveh Abedi, 45, was arrested on Monday in Chicago for “violations of the Immigration and Nationality Act” and was sentenced in 2001 for having sold cocaine.

Arish Rustami was also arrested and has an previous sexual offense, and Abdolmohammad Raghibzadeh was placed in police custody on Monday. He has obtained an expulsion order since November 2005 from an immigration judge in Arizona, and he is currently Iranian citizen, according to Ice.

In 1999, he already faced arrests for “domestic violence, vandalism and intimidation” and made 90 days behind bars and five years of probation. He faced two other arrests and prison terms for “violations of the probation of previous crimes”.

In May 2006, Raghibzadeh could not obtain appropriate documents to return to Iran, so he received a “supervision order” and then released. But in 2007, he was again arrested by sheriffs in Santa Ana, California, not to have followed probation and had to pass the rest to California Chino detention center, according to Ice.

Sahand Yousefinasrabadi was arrested on Monday by the federal authorities “during an action to apply the targeted law” at Forth Worth, Texas. Yousefinasrabadi was sentenced in September 2013 for aggravated sexual assault of a child, and was asked in October 2013 to leave the United States by an immigration judge.

The arrests are involved among the concerns about Iranian sleeping cells in the United States after strikes on the nuclear sites of the nuclear sites Middle East nation. Although there is currently a cease-fire between Iran and Israel, the DHS noted the arrests made since Sunday.

In particular, Yousef Mehridehno was arrested by Ice Sunday at Mississippi And was on a “known or suspected” terrorist surveillance list in February.
